DEBBI S. ROLLO
I am a first time author, wife, mother, grand-mother, and a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love reading, watching movies, studying Isaiah and the U.S. Constitution, being at home, developing forms for practically everything, and working with individuals with special needs. Creating these rhymes has been one of my greatest joys. I live in Orem, Utah with my wonderful family.

AUTHOR’S STORY
Shortly after the tragic death of our 23-year-old daughter and her husband, their two young children and I read regularly together from a classic book of nursery rhymes handed down from my grandmother. Those simple rhymes and beautiful illustrations lifted our troubled hearts and brought joy to our souls during our time of grief. One day, while reading together, the thought came to me that there should be a book of rhymes specifically for The Book of Mormon. As I opened The Book of Mormon with this idea, rhyming words flowed into my mind. I felt as though a host of heavenly angels hovered over me, whispering the words that I should write. I felt compelled from that moment on to create this book for publication.
Writing these rhymes has been one of my greatest joys.

President Ezra Taft Benson taught: “I have a vision of artists putting into film, drama, literature, music, and paintings great themes and great characters from the Book of Mormon…Indeed, I have a vision of flooding the earth with the Book of Mormon.” (October 1988 General Conference, “Flooding the Earth with the Book of Mormon”). This book is me doing my small part to help fulfill President Benson’s vision.

I believe with all my heart that these carefully written and inspiring rhymes will create a new love for The Book of Mormon and will bring your family closer to God.
